I'll never forget these days! I'm sitting in a paddling boat - equipped with a Neoprene suit, shoes, helmet, jacket and a life jacket - and I am attentively listening to the instructions given by a certified guide. Excitement and anticipation is what we feel when paddling towards the first waves and whitecaps of the Ötztal Ache river.

We're getting more and more excited, and eventually off we go: "Straight out, all together", our guide commands when the first waves hit the boat. "Yippie!", the team is overwhelmed by impressions. We've conquered the first passage and are looking forward to the passages to come.

Our steersman is in control. We are feeling save amidst waves, whitecaps and crests and are enjoying a fantastic white-water adventure on the Ötztal Ache river.

The conditions in the Ötztal valley are ideal for all kinds of rafting at all difficulty levels. Young pirates from 4 years can try family rafting and enjoy a treasure hunt afterwards as a reward for their bravery.
