The course of the Adlerweg Trail, that winds its way across Tirol, symbolizes an eagle that spreads its 'wings' over the country. This fantastic route starts in St. Johann in Tirol and leads via the Wilder Kaiser mountains, the Brandenberger Alps, the Rofan massif and the Karwendel mountains to the Lechtal Alps.
The eagle has been native to Tirol for centuries and its image represents freedom, power and the wild call of nature. The King of the air should also help to relax and unwind along the long-distance hiking trail. Walkers are warmly invited to follow the tracks of this fantastic animal within the Tirolean mountains.
