Pollestal valley is a high-altitude side valley of the Ötztal valley. A good gravel road leads past Sattelealm hut to Hochalm hut near Vordere Pollesalm hut (1,776m). The long and extremely steep uphill ride before Pollesalm hut is difficult. Ride past the picture-card pasture landscape up to Hintere Pollesalm hut (not serviced). The downhill ride is pure bliss.
