BALBACH ALM HUT

A rewarding destination for families and children. Hot meals are served all day long. Overnight stays are possible in the dormitory.

The hut is easily accessible with the new mountain gondola from Oetz to Hochoetz, followed by a 20-minute walk along the slightly descending Panorama Trail (perfect for families).

Alternative: you drive by car or by bus to the large car park in Ochsengarten. A steep trail starting at Balbacherhof inn takes hikers up to the Balbach Alm hut
(hiking time: approx.. 1 hr).
